What do you do when life drives you to the end of the road? When satan is pushing you with bills you can't pay, sickness that doesn't heal and family issues you cannot fix? Scold back? He just mocks at you. Retaliate? It's his joy to see you in that state. Don't depend on God? He loves that.
But what does God really want us to do about it then? It's to simply move on from what is in our way, come to the end of our road and begin walking His road. From the song 'Hati Hamba', it goes "No longer my ways, let Your will be done." Truly when we are on our Road of Damascus, we can either choose to turn back in our walk or cross the bridge of life towards God's will.
And the way to cross this bridge is simple, praise and thanksgiving. Bless God every chance you get and slowly the key to the bridge would be dropped into our hands. Rejoice in the Lord and sing His praises and joy. Spread forth His love.
Psalms 34:1-2
I bless God every chance i get; my lungs expand with His praise. I live and breathe God; if things aren't going well, hear this and be happy.
It's all as simple as thanking God every chance you get, so lets start today! You can thank God for little things like remembering to wake you up this morning, blessing you with good relationships as you go for work today, or even that unknown stranger on the train that blessed you with a $10 note!
